Vishal is a Partner of Edgewood Ventures, LLC. Edgewood is a leading accelerator creating the next wave of technology companies. Edgewood assists start-up companies in business development, strategy, brand creation etc. Edgewood’s portfolio consists mainly of high quality sustainable companies such as Akroria, BayTech, B-Bop, DSL Communications (acquired by Lara/Cypress), Edgewood Real Estate India, Force10 Networks (will file for IPO over summer), HAL – Edgewood Pvt. Ltd., HSMC, iLeverage (acquired by EPNY), LiquidMarket (acquired by Xoom.com) and Rightworks (acquired by ICG). Vishal currently sit on the board of Bay Area Technologies, Edgewood Real Estate India, HSMC, Hyde Park Angels and Legal Remedies. Prior to Edgewood, Vishal worked at Loral Corporation reporting to the Vice President of Asia Pacific. Vishal was responsible for creating and managing relationships with Loral’s customers in the Pacific Rim region. Vishal is a member of the The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), AAMA, SVASE, Chicago Private Equity Networks, Chicago CEO Roundtable, Executive Club of Chicago. Mukesh Advani Prior to Edgewood Ventures, Mukesh was of counsel to The Schinner Law Group with offices in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Before that, Mukesh was a partner with a San Francisco based law firm of Kelly, Herlihy, Advani and Klein with offices in Northern and Southern California, a firm Mukesh co-founded in February 1998. From 1990 to 1998, Mukesh managed the successful growth of his own firm to eight attorneys with offices in Northern and Southern California. From 1985 to 1990, Mukesh was an associate with the law firm of Kornblum, Kelly, Herlihy. In 1991, Mukesh received an A.V. rating (very high (legal ability) to preeminent) by Martindale-Hubbell, after he had been in practice for only a little over five years. In his practice, Mukesh has represented major institutional and individual clients in hundreds of civil litigation and corporate matters. Mukesh has also appeared as lead counsel in dozens of appellate matters, many of which are published Mukesh was also counsel for Dr. Allen Hassan in one his other landmark California Supreme Court cases, Hassan v. Mercy Hospital (2003) 31 Cal.4th 709. Mukesh has published articles and taught continuing legal education classes. At the American Bar Association’s Annual convention in San Francisco in 1998, Mukesh was invited to be a panelist with Judge Kenneth Starr and Justice Kathryn Werdegar of California Supreme Court. |

From 1992 he has been Division Head, of HMCD, (Hybrid Microelectronics Division) at ISAC. (ISRO Satellite Center) Bangalore, INDIA. He was Responsible for operations and maintenance of C-band & S-Band Earth Stations at ISAC. The ground station operational support at ISAC was provided for all the ISRO satellite missions’ viz., ROHINI-1, BHASKARA-1&2, ROHINI-D1 & D2, APPLE, INSAT and IRS series satellites. He is the Life Member of Astronautical Society Of India, Life Member of International Society For Hybrid Microelectronics, Fellowship of Institute of electronics and telecom. Engineers. |
