Deven was the founding General Partner of Edgewood and Redwood Ventures. Combined they have invested into over 80 companies including Rightworks (SOLD to ICGE), SwitchON (SOLD to PMCS), Catarman (SOLD to IFX), Magma Design Automation (LAVA), iLeverage (SOLD to EPNY), and CoDesign (SOLD to SNPS). In addition, Deven has served on the Board Director or Advisor of Greater Bay Bank (NASDAQ : GBBK), Clearspeed ( LSE : CSD), Monet Communication. Deven has 25+ years of experience as a technologists, entrepreneur and investor. He is a seasoned operations executive in small and large corporations.

Currently, Deven is involved in high tech area including Super Computer, Semiconductor, Micro Processor and Genomic Research

Deven was Executive Vice President at Loral Corporation and has managed the largest commercial satellite project in the world.

Rajvir Singh

Raj was the founding partner at Redwood Venture Partners, Raj Singh had many years of experience as an engineer in high technology companies, starting with National Semiconductor in the early 1980s. After leaving National, he was among the first few employees at both Cirrus Logic and again at Nexgen. In 1992 he began a new career as an entrepreneur, starting a company to develop chip design software. Over the next few years, he started three more companies: Advanced Logic, Fiberlane Communications (later split into Cerent, Siara Systems, and Cyras Systems), and StratumOne. He is the co-author of Digital Design and Synthesis with Verilog HDL. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Roorkee Engineering College, India, and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.

Vishal Verma

Vishal is a Partner of Edgewood Ventures, LLC. Edgewood is a leading accelerator creating the next wave of technology companies. Edgewood assists start-up companies in business development, strategy, brand creation etc. Edgewood’s portfolio consists mainly of high quality sustainable companies such as Akroria, BayTech, B-Bop, DSL Communications (acquired by Lara/Cypress), Edgewood Real Estate India, Force10 Networks (will file for IPO over summer), HAL – Edgewood Pvt. Ltd., HSMC, iLeverage (acquired by EPNY), LiquidMarket (acquired by Xoom.com) and Rightworks (acquired by ICG).

Vishal currently sit on the board of Bay Area Technologies, Edgewood Real Estate India, HSMC, Hyde Park Angels and Legal Remedies.

Prior to Edgewood, Vishal was the Founder, President and COO of Akroria Networks, Inc. a well funded – VC backed optical switching company. Akroria is creating a novel approach on solving the bandwidth clutter in the telecommunication market.

Prior to Edgewood, Vishal worked at Loral Corporation reporting to the Vice President of Asia Pacific. Vishal was responsible for creating and managing relationships with Loral’s customers in the Pacific Rim region.

Vishal is a member of the The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), AAMA, SVASE, Chicago Private Equity Networks, Chicago CEO Roundtable, Executive Club of Chicago.

Vishal holds a B.S. degree in Finance and Marketing from Santa Clara University, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
